Apple iPhone XS and XS Max

Now with the release of the new iPhone you have some awesome choices to choose from, iPhone XS with a 5.8 display or the bigger iPhone XS Max with a 6.5 display and three colors, gold, space gray and silver.  These new XS models represent Apple at the top of its hardware game and if you buy one of these latest models you probably won't need to upgrade any time soon.

The XS uses the same thoughtfully updated IOS 12 as the iPhone X and their look and designs are basically identical, but with a more powerful chipset and with the cameras latest improvements make the XS a solid step forward.
The iPhone XS Max is just a bigger iPhone XS. That's great in some ways: its 6.5-inch display is fantastic for watching videos or looking at photos, and the battery life last a little longer. This phone may be a little big for some, that being said this is Apple’s biggest and best iPhone and will give the competitors a run for their money.

The XS and the XS Max both pack improved stereo speakers that offer a better sound. This is especially noticeable when you're watching your favorite show or listing to live music.
The iPhone glass cover on the front and back are tougher than last years model, if your like me and you drop your phone as often as I do this is important, that said for the price you pay you
may want to buy a case to protect it. Not only can you get the already awesome 64GB and the
256GB storage Apple added a whopping 512GB storage that you should never run out of room for all your pictures, movies and apps.

Getting used to it:

So if your just updating from the earlier iPhone design there is a learning curve and with no home button the interface can take some time to get used to. You will have to swipe up from the bottom of the display to return to your home screen.

Apple made it easier to force-close apps, now all it takes is a quick swipe up from the bottom of the app. The performance is a little smoother thanks to the new A12 Bionic chipset inside both the XS and XS Max phones. Apps launch quicker here than on the previous iPhones in general, jumping from app to app while multitasking is much faster as well. The changes are noticeable but not dramatically, unless you're coming from an older model IPhone, then you are in for a surprise. Apple says the A12's two high-performance cores are up to 15 percent faster than the CPU cores in last year's iPhones.

Much improved camera:

The iPhone XS and XS Max share this one crucial feature, an improved dual camera. The 12-megapixel telephoto sensor is the same as the iPhone X's. More often than not, you will probably be shooting with the new 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor. This is a huge improvement over last year. This new wide-angle sensor is physically larger, and so are the light-capturing pixels (1.4μm versus 1.22μm in the iPhone X). In other words, the XS's main camera is now much better at capturing light. With more focus pixels strewn across the sensor, the XS and XS Max are remarkably quicker to focus on a subject. This necessary improvement to the camera's sensor structure means the XS and XS Max shoot better looking photos by default, even portrait photos are better this year. You have more control over that background blur. A new feature called Depth Control lets you change the depth of field of a photo after you've already taken it. It's been handy    for getting portrait shots looking just right. This feature runs completely in software, so you can use it to get that perfect selfie.
The iPhone's camera experience is much better than it used to be and I think it will continue to grow.

Wrap-up:

I believe these models are Apple's best iPhones ever, But you can say that about every iPhone release. The iPhone XS and XS Max has improved on some of things Apple started last year with the iPhone X. These are some fantastic smartphones in their own right. Thanks to Apple's  A12 Bionic's Neural Engine, these phones have been set up for success, as Apples smartphone continues to become more sophisticated and with Apple IOS 12 software this is an awesome upgrade from previous iPhones.
